Today is Veteran’s day. How do you feel about warfare? I tip off my hat to those who fought during past wars, and to those who fight in today’s global conflicts. But, I especially thank those who have the right attitude of the heart as they enter such fearsome battlefields.
War was never meant to be part of our world and those who start, and instigate wars, should repent. I’ll be referencing the words of Holy Mother Han, also known as the mother of peace, for today’s article. She’s currently facing major persecution in South Korea. The ultimate war of humanity is seen at the individual level. It is the fight between our mind and body. By extension, we argue and fight with our neighbors, family members and others. Therefore, if we practice the words as spoken by Rev. and Mrs. Moon, the division between our mind and body can be removed by purifying ourselves and orienting our daily life into the fulfillment of God’s Dream.
Today, I’ve read the preface of Dr. Hak Ja Han’s memoir. It was descriptive of her trip to Sao Tome and Principe. In the next page, she describes God’s situation as the invisible parent who became traumatized for seeing his children fall into sexual immorality and corruption at the garden of Eden. The same story is unfolding today. We need to take action to correct the patterns & behaviors we see within ourselves, our families and in our nation.
