Thoughts on Mr. Trump’s Immigration Policies and Performance Reviews of Govt. Workers

The following is a reflection about President Donald Trump’s recent gathering regarding the signing of the Laken Riley Act and what I believe we could do in order to help create a better relationship between North and South America.

I have just watched President Trump’s 30 minute remarks on FOX News regarding the Laken Riley Act.  It was indeed a historical moment, but also moment of sadness for the family of the late Laken Riley.  Laken was a young lady whose life was taken by undocumented immigrant in the United States. The family of Laken Riley was present in the above gathering.  I am sure they felt relief by the words expressed and the law signed by President Trump.

Laken Riley’s mother was allowed to share a few words on that day as she cried over her daughter and gave thanks to the Lord Jesus while she spoke.

Personally, I do not support people who come across the border with past criminal history and I do not support  irresponsible people.

Should a woman with 3 or more children, who are single mothers, flee her homeland without preparation?  This is not an easy question to answer.  Young mothers are desperate to feed their children–but here is my question:  Why are there so many single mothers and irresponsible fathers in our world ?  I believe that this the root problem of immigration. People move from one country, or city to another, because they want peace, happiness, and economic stability. But what causes war, grief, and instability? This is the question we need to answer.

Should the U.S. welcome such individuals to our homeland by the masses year after year?  I believe that there are already irresponsible people in the United States.  I believe that I have worked hard to be a responsible young man and I thank my parents for a good upbringing.  I know times are hard, but should such continue to ask welfare programs to take care of them?  We should think carefully about these things.

The strong and serious approach Mr. Trump is taking is not completely farfetched.  I also believe that we need to get our act together as individuals and families and that other countries need to get serious about their livelihoods domestically as well.

Despite everything I am claiming above, I believe that welfare programs should exist and help should be be offered to people with less money.  I  do support the economic policy of rich/wealthy people “giving their fare share”  to help poor people survive and climb the economic ladder.   To fulfill this condition, men and women should show how they are working hard to find good jobs and those recipients should have good moral character.

I know how hard it is to find a good paying and stable job.  But it is not good to believe that the American Welfare system will take care of our responsibilities.  I encourage people to hear some of the words spoken by Mr. Thomas Sowell to understand this topic.

Thoughts on North, Central and South America
In Regard to Peace, Justice and the General Welfare

I felt unhappy when I learned about what Central and South American countries are doing to help people to live peaceful, economic lives.  I understand that Mr. Nayib Bukele is almost as strong as a dictator and that these tyrannical authorities are needed to create stability in some parts of the world.  However, what is the best approach to solving the issue of crime and poverty in North, Central or South America?  Not just the approach, but what has caused this reality ? I plan to write an article about that. Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon has taught about several issues regarding the establishment of North and South America.

As for me, I believe that poverty and danger are the main reason people flee North to the United States.  There are other spiritual reasons that drew men and women to this country.  As a humble American citizen, I would like for our government to be lenient toward immigrants.  How should we treat Central or South America people ? I would like to hear your opinion on this.

Will military might, power and weapons resolve the issue of crime?  What is crime and why does it exist? We should understand the history of the human fall to understand the history of crime and violence.  The Divine Principle taught by Rev. and Mrs. Moon gives an amazing understanding on these issues.  Therefore, referring to religious leaders, books and ethics will help deter and prevent crime faster than using law enforcement as the primary means of deterrence.  I hope to write a new article about this.

Peaceful dialogues could be held on creating a safer, more just, more pure, more loving, more peaceful, and a more respectful Western Hemisphere.  That’s right–the Western Hemisphere is at stake and the United States of America has the biggest responsibility because it has the most amount of money and people. Not just money, this country was Chosen as God’s launching pad to help create the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.  We cannot do it alone and we need a fresh, new wine to do it–this is the fresh wine poured into the minds of people by Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, as well. I believe that our country should not say “our neighbors are starving in South America, that is their problem.”  This is the wrong attitude.

Final Thoughts on Immigration
and the American Government

I will not lie–I am grateful to God for guiding my family into the United States when I was only 8 years old. To immigrate into a foreign country without knowing the language is a big sacrifice.  We, as a people, should begin to pray about what really needs to happen — not just for the issues of crime and dangerous drug cartels — but let us pray about the issues of peace, purity, respect, love and the general instability in our Western Hemisphere

On another note, Mr. Trump covered an array of topics in those 30 minutes, including conducting interviews and performance reviews of government workers who may not actually be doing their job. Imagine that. 🤣 I was honestly surprised to see how our president initiated an agenda for our government employees to be more carefully supervised.

To be more specific, Mr. Trump is asking all government employees to come to work on time, in the office, or be terminated from their employment with the American government.  That is scary.  Do you think he’s doing the right thing?

Thank you for reading my post. I welcome your thoughts, prayers and reflections below.

May God be with you and your families. Amen.

Dear Xavier, after listening to thomas sowell for some time, I’ve realized that he also has a very narrow viewpoint. Either way, he makes some good point about American history but unfortunately doesn’t comment on anything else.

As for the red pill, if that means becoming a republican, I’ve taken this medicine for a long time already.
